SISSAL is currently undergoing a restructure which is due to be implemented by Monday 26 September 2011.  At that time SISSAL as an entity will cease and will become known as the South Island Alliance Programme Office.  This outcome follows the development of the South Island DHB Alliance (SIA) which will support all collaborative activity across the South Island.

A key component of the SIA is the establishment of six priority Service Level Alliances (SLAs):

·         Child Health SLA

·         Mental Health SLA

·         Health of Older People SLA

·         Support Services SLA

·         Information Services SLA

·         Southern Cancer Network
