We are looking for a vibrant self-starter to develop and manage the Inequalities Portfolio for the Southern Cancer Network.

This role will support the SCN to take active steps to reduce health inequalities across the cancer control continuum through collaboration and project work aimed at improving health outcomes for groups that are experiencing disparities in this area. Included in this role is the establishment and maintenance of processes that enable Maori to participate in and contribute towards strategies for Maori health improvement in relation to cancer.

Knowledge and experience of the New Zealand Health Sector, tertiary qualification, project management and a depth of knowledge in tikanga and kaupapa Maori would be beneficial. Flexibility to travel to other areas within the Southern region to undertake duties e.g. meeting with stakeholders is required (this may occur at times outside of normal working hours).
