Team Role - Information & Analysis

 


The Information and Analysis Team provides:

  • Advice, strategic leadership and direction regarding health information services

  • Local know how, enhanced by the technical and health industry knowledge

 Our Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a regional resource for sourcing and management of large data sets, including but not limited to, data from National warehouses, HealthPAC, Client Claims Processing System (CCPS)
     

  • Add value to financial and business analysis with information management, analysis and reporting tools, particularly around Referred Services Monitoring and Health of Older Persons
     

  • Provide demographic and service mapping activity to support SISSAL functions around service planning, Health Needs Analysis and other projects
     

  • Provide a key contact in Primary Health Organisation (PHO) Performance Programme including analysis and interpretation of reports and data on an ongoing basis for District Health Board and PHOs; liaison with District Health Board and PHOs; support and training to PHOs entering the programme; support for District Health Board; and helpdesk functions for District Health Board and PHOs within the region
     

  • Support for specific regional and national projects such as Inter District Flows (IDFs), National Pricing Project, Income and Asset Testing (IAT)
     

  • Documentation and analysis of service provision utilising the Service Provision Framework and process mapping
